About Us...
SD Concept Engineering, Inc. specializes in product development and prototyping with a large niche market in the performance automotive industry. We have an in-house machine shop with manual and cnc machines. We also house an engine dyno and chassis dyno along with all other necessary tools and equipment to properly service our clients.
Our facility is located at 4 Daisy St in West Warwick RI. We can be reached by phone at 401-826-4400. We can also be reached via email at sdconcepts@yahoo.com. If you wish to discuss having work done by SD Concept Engineering, Inc., an initial conference call is required prior to an in -person meeting. Our shop rates begin at $95 an hour (effective 1/1/2011) . The courtesy of 24 hour notice of cancellation is appreciated.
While we truly appreciate all our clients, please do not stop by without an appointment. We are under tight schedules this time of year and surely you understand you could be short-changing someone else from having their project completed in time which in turn pushes the entire schedule back taking longer for us to complete your project.
Please call so we can mark the time on our schedule to give you our full attention. When calling, please understand we only have one person answering one phone line so we can give the person on the phone our complete attention. Chances are we may be on the phone when you call so PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE and we will call you back as soon as we can. We can also be reached via email at sdconcepts@yahoo.com.
Our current business hours are Monday - Friday 9am-6:30pm. We break for lunch from 12pm to 12:45pm. Saturday is strictly appointment only. Our facility is closed to the public after these hours.

The Chassis Dyno will be taking a day of silence in honor of Greg Getchell.
GETCHELL, GREGORY W. 40, of Bonnet View Drive, died unexpectedly on Sunday at Kent Hospital, Warwick. Born in North Kingstown, he was the beloved son of Pamela D. (Smith) and Chester Chandronnet and father of Haille M Getchell. Mr. Getchell was a Senior Tier, Level III Engineer for Carousel Industries of Exeter, RI, and a veteran of the US Air Force having served honorably during the Persian Gulf War. His funeral service will be held Friday April 22, 2011 at 10AM in the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown. Burial with Military Honors will follow in The Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation Thursday 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Greg's memory to the Haille Getchell Educational Fund c/o Carousel Industries, 659 South County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822. Hi All...
We're still in the process of looking for a new building. It's taking longer than we'd like so we decided we need to get back to work at 4 Daisy St. We're at about 50% right now and hope to be up to 100% in the next 4-6 weeks.
The chassis dyno is up and running, and we can get most anything you need done. So please call, email or stop by if we can do anything for you.
East Ave bridge is still currently closed, but we heard thru the grapevine they plan to reopen it in the next few weeks.
If we can get all our ducks in a row, we're going to TRY and have a car show end of August, early September...stay tuned...

The New Shop
Our new facility is getting ready for us. Because it's a brand new building, we need to get a few necessities in place before we can get up and running. We are having garage doors and lifts installed in about a week or so. The chassis dyno will also be getting moved within that same time frame. Once we're in and getting back on track, we'll be having a big open house/car show/bbq to show off our new "home". See everyone soon!

We have a complete engine for sale...it is an SDCE built Mopar 360cid with our F2 supercharger kit on it. Set up for EFI with our sheetmetal intake.
Ran 8's in a 3300 lb car for only a season and a half.
Being sold as a turn key package, but may sell just the engine without the supercharger.
